20's & 30's gowns <1,2,3,4>

Late 30's Pink taffeta gown.  She is simple but elegant in true late 30's glamour. She is all pink taffeta with black velvet straps. Her bust has a slight cross over style with a very fitted bodice. Her skirt has a slight v and a single row of  smocking.  She has a side metal zipper for her closure.  Her dimensions are: BUST: 32-33 (b tops). WAIST: 25"(26" very snugly).  Her bodice is 16" including her straps  and from her waist to her hem is 42".  She is in very good vintage condition,  with a discolorations and 1 pin dot hole on her skirt.  Not very noticeable but should be noted. Late 30's Black Hollywood Glamour Gown. Her label; reads: "Original by Lettie Lee Hollywood Couturier".  Red Carpet worthy! She is all Black rayon crepe and lace. Her bodice is designed to look like she has a bandeau bra top on top of a lace top.  Her midriff is a peek a boo all lace front and back. Her skirt is has an elongated peplum in front and a very daring front slit.  She closes on the side with a metal zipper.  Her dimensions are: BUST: 32  WAIST: 24-25" HIPS: 36". Across her shoulders is 14"  From her shoulders to her waist is 15" and from her waist to her hem is 40"  She is in excellent condition and the extra pictures can show way more than I can describe! Early 30's Navy Floral dress print Rayon dress.  Their is no label in side of this creation, more than likely homemade from the time period.  She is made of a rayon crepe, and she has no zippers or snaps to speak of.  She is meant to be worn on the looser side. Just beneath the bust there is a  smocking detail to simulate the puckering you would get from elastic in modern day clothing, this detail is also at the her shoulders.  Her sleeves have that little extra puff at the shoulders and get a bit tighter at the bottom only a 5" bicep will fit in her ladies! (unless the sleeves are reworked!).  With that in mind her measurements are: Bust 32 (a 34 A might sneak in here!)  Waist 24-26".  Across her shoulders is 13" and from her shoulders to her waist is 15", from her waist to her hem is 30".  Hips: 34" She is in excellent condition with so much wear left in her. Early 30's Black floral printed Bias cut dress.  She has no label in side her, more than likely homemade from the day!  She also has no zippers or snaps to speak  as well, only a small button at the back of her neck.   She has a small collar that is hard to see in this picture with a little ruffle down the front of her bust.  There is some smocking detail at her shoulders and her sleeves have that classic 30's puff to them,. I know it's a rare dimension to have to worry about the bottom sleeve will only accommodate a 5.5" bicep. (that can be remedy to a small degree!). She has small triangular insert at the bottom of her skirt for a bit more drama!  Her measurements are: BUST 34, WAIST 28".  She is 15" across the shoulders, and is 15" from the shoulder seam to the waist.  From the waist to the hem is 36" Hips should not be an issue with her being bias cut.  She is in excellent condition, for a closer peek please CLICK HERE.

20's Silk & Rayon Pansy print dress. I don't know if words can even describe the rare beauty of this creation. She was home made not uncommon from the day but done exceptionally well.  She has no zippers or snaps to aid in getting in and out of her.  She is on the smaller side, I had a hard time even getting her on the dress form.  She  still has her decoration at her bust, a small cluster of yellow & purple grapes!  She has the appearance of being a blouse and skirt,  however she is all 1 piece.  The top part overlays over the rest of the dress but is sown together.  Her back side has a very sexy plunge and has a lovely train in yellow and purple. Her dimensions are: Bust 32-34 A. Waist is 25"   From the shoulder seam to the waist is 14". From the waist to the hem is 37".She's in excellent condition for her age with much wear left to her.
